Men's Golfer of the Month
Ryan Edholm, Canisius
So, Tonawanda, NY, Sweet Home High School

At the Cornell/Temple Fall Invitational, Ryan Edholm posted a 36-hole score of 139 after registering scores of 68-71. The final score of 139 (-1) made him the first Canisius golfer in more than 15 years to finish under-par for a 36-hole tournament, good for third place overall. In the Griffs' first tournament of the fall, Edholm placed second among Canisius golfers (T-50 overall) with his 54-hole score of 226 at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial.

Women's Golfer of the Month
Leeyen Peralta, Quinnipiac
Sr., Brea, CA, Cornelia Connelly School

Leeyen Peralta got off to a hot start in the month of September, tying for 19th at the Yale Invitational followed by a tie for third place at the Boston College Intercollegiate. Out of her six rounds of play, Peralta finished at par or better in four of them.

The 2023 MAAC Men’s & Women’s Golf Championships return to Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, FL from April 21-23. The 2023 championships will mark the eighth time since 2015 that Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course will play host to the conference championship.
