Men’s Runner of the Week:
Ramsey Little, Marist
Sr., Millburn, NJ, Millburn
 
Senior Ramsey Little led the Red Foxes as he finished in a school-record time of 23:34 at the Paul Short Run this past Friday. No one in Marist College history had ever run faster than 24 minutes for an 8km race, and he shattered a 24-year school record by 39 seconds. Little turned in a 39th-place finish in the Gold Race, which had 416 finishers. He was the top MAAC finisher at the prestigious event.
 
Women’s Runner of the Week:
Olivia Lomascolo, Siena
5Y., Ballston Lake, NY, Shenendehowa
 
Lomascolo set the program record in the women's 6k with a time of 20:17.8 and a 40th place finish at the prestigious Paul Short Run, breaking her own school record. She logged the fastest time of any female MAAC runner at the event.
 
The 2022 MAAC Men's & Women’s Cross Country Championships will be held at The Crossings of Colonie course in Loudonville, New York on Saturday, October 29. The one-day event will be hosted by Siena College. This will be the second time Siena serves as host of the cross country championships at The Crossings of Colonie, having previously hosted the tournament in 2018.
