EDISON, NJ (Nov. 16, 2022) – A trio of Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) men’s basketball teams earned wins on Tuesday night in non-conference action. Mount St. Mary’s University claimed its first win of the year, Quinnipiac University scored its fourth win of the season to remain undefeated, and Saint Peter’s University improved to 2-0 at home with its victory.

Mount St. Mary's throttled McDaniel, 60-38, on Tuesday night in its home opener at Knott Arena. The Mount scored the game's first 13 points in the opening 3:10 of action. Jalen Benjamin recorded 18 points, eight assists and seven rebounds while Malik Jefferson added 13 points and eight boards in the victory. The Mount improved to 1-2 on the season.

Quinnipiac men's basketball earned its fourth consecutive win on Tuesday night at M&T Bank Arena, picking up a home win over Dartmouth by the final score of 81-72. The Bobcats improve to 4-0, the first start of its kind for the program dating back to 1969-70. Ike Nweke posted his second double-double of the season with 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Bobcats, while Dezi Jones chipped in with 14 points, Paul Otieno scored 14 points, and Tymu Chenery added 12 points in the win.
