EDISON, NJ (Nov. 20, 2022) – Niagara University defeated previously undefeated Stetson to highlight Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) men’s basketball non-conference action on Saturday. With the win, Niagara improved to 2-0 in the MAAC/ASUN Dublin Challenge.

Niagara handed Stetson its first loss of the season with a 66-62 victory Saturday afternoon at the National Basketball Arena to close out the MAAC/ASUN Dublin Challenge with a pair of wins. Four Purple Eagles scored in double-figures, including Noah Thomasson who was named MAAC/ASUN Dublin Challenge MVP after scoring 15 points. Bryce Moore (14), Aaron Gray (13) and David Mitchell (10) also reached double-digits in the scoring column.

The Marist men's basketball team was defeated by Princeton, 62-55, at McCann Arena on Saturday night. The Red Foxes trailed by 20 in the first half and cut that deficit to two in the closing minutes, but ultimately fell by seven. Patrick Gardner led all scorers with 15 points and Javon Cooley added 11 points and a game-high eight rebounds.
