EDISON, NJ (Nov. 23, 2022) – Mount St. Mary’s University earned an impressive win over Pacific in the California Thanksgiving Jam on Tuesday night to headline Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) men’s basketball action. The win was the second-straight for the Mount, going 2-0 in the holiday event.

Mount St. Mary's turned in its best performance of the season in an impressive 69-65 win at Pacific on Tuesday night. The Mountaineers move to 3-3 on the season after ending the California Thanksgiving Jam a perfect 2-0 with back-to-back wins over Cal Poly and Pacific. Jalen Benjamin led four Mountaineers with 19 points. Malik Jefferson recorded his 16
th career double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, Dakota Leffew added 12 points and Deandre Thomas was the fourth Mountaineer in double figures with a season-best 10 points in the win. Jefferson's double-double made him the Mount's all-time leader in career double-doubles since the school moved to NCAA Division I in 1988-89.
