Edison, NJ (Nov. 23, 2022) – Canisius’ Joey Maher and Manhattan’s Teddy Segmuller have been named the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Student-Athletes of the Week.

In eight rounds during the fall, Maher posted a 78.30 stroke average, highlighted by a season-low 75 in the first round of the Bucknell Invitational on Oct. 9. Maher also shot a 77 on the final day of the Matthews Auto Collegiate Invitational on Oct. 3 for a tournament score of 154, his career low for a 36-hole event. He finished tied for 33rd in the field. The Geneva, N.Y., native is enrolled in the business pathfinders’ program at the College. He was named to the school's dean's list both semesters during the 2021-22 academic year.

Women’s Swimming
Teddy Segmuller is a senior of the Manhattan women's swimming and diving team. The SAAC Vice-President, Segmuller has been instrumental in SAAC's involvement in the campus community as well as the Riverdale community as a whole. A two-time Academic All-MAAC member, Segmuller was part of the 200, 400 and 800 freestyle relay teams that set school records at the 2020 MAAC Championships her freshman year.
