Manhattan’s Juric and Siena’s Mevius Named Hercules Tires MAAC Women’s Basketball Weekly Award Winners

Juric averaged 22 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, and 1.0 steal per game for the Jaspers in Arizona this past weekend. Juric shot 60% from the field and 87.5% from the free throw line. The sophomore had double-doubles in both games of the GCU Thanksgiving Classic. In game one, Juric tallied 22 points, 12 rebounds, and two blocks. In game two, Juric posted 22 more points, 11 rebounds, two blocks, and an assist and steal.
 
Rookie of the Week
Elisa Mevius, Siena

Mevius became the first Saint this season to post 20 points, doing so at A-10 foe Duquesne. The one-time MAAC Rookie of the Week averaged 11.3 points 4.7 assists, and 4.7 rebounds in three contests this past week, while adding seven steals.
