The Jaspers earned a hard fought victory over Army in the consolation game at the London Basketball Classic, the Red Foxes prevailed in overtime at Bucknell, and the Bobcats improved to 7-0 on the season with its win in The Northern Classic.

Manhattan hung on to beat Army West Point 72-71 in the consolation game of the 2022 London Basketball Classic on Saturday at the Copper Box Stadium in London. Josh Roberts' 17 points and nine rebounds led the Jaspers, while Samir Stewart finished with 14 off the bench, Ant Nelson finished with 13 and Nick Brennen added 11 points. Defensively, the Jaspers forced 20 turnovers and scored 32 points off them.

Quinnipiac men's basketball earned its seventh consecutive win to begin the 2022-23 season on Saturday, downing Montana State by the final score of 70-53 at Place Bell Arena in The Northern Classic. The Bobcats outscored Montana State 44-29 in the second half of action, shooting 16-of-33 (48.5%) from the floor in the second half. Dezi Jones (16 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists), Matt Balanc (15 points, 5 rebounds) and Luis Kortright (13 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists) all recorded double-digit scoring nights to lead the way for the Bobcats. Quinnipiac moves to 7-0 for the first time since 1969-70.
