Player of the Week
Ella Loussia, Canisius

Senior outside hitter Ella Loussia had a career week, posting 14 service aces with an average of 2.00 per set, 28 kills with an average of 4.00 per set, two double-doubles and 30 digs during a 2-0 week for the Griffs. Loussia broke the program record for service aces with her 14 to bring her season total to 62. Her best game came against Rider where she had 16 kills, eight service aces and 16 digs.

Kyla Berg, Fairfield
Jr., Fishers, IN, Hamilton Southeastern
 
Kyla Berg led Fairfield to a 2-0 weekend of play, with wins over Iona and Manhattan. Berg notched a perfect 1.000 serve percentage, recorded 23 digs, and added 5 assists over a total of five sets played.

Hope Matschner, Iona
Jr., Winter Springs, FL, Winter Springs

Matschner takes home Libero of the Week honors for the eight time this season. In seven sets played over the weekend Matschner recorded a combined 54 digs and boasted a .985 serve percentage for the Gaels.

Rookie of the Week
Ella Bourque, Canisius
Fr., Yorkville, IL, Yorkville

Bourque claims Rookie of the Week honors once again, after an impressive weekend of competition that saw Canisius go 2-0. Bourque recorded 77 assists, 15 digs, and three kills in seven sets played. 

The 2022 MAAC Volleyball Championship takes place from November 16 through 19 at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Lake Buena Vista, FL. The 10-team, single-elimination championship will feature four rounds of action with the opening round taking place on Wednesday, November 16, followed by the quarterfinals on Thursday, November 17, the semifinals on Friday, November 18, and concluding with the championship match on Saturday, November 19.
