Canisius took down Marist 74-67 in a contest on Monday to move to 2-0 in conference play. MAAC Rookie of the Week Sisi Eleko recorded 15 points and nine rebounds to lead Canisius. Dani Haskell had 12 points, five rebounds and four assists and Giana Hernandez-Boulden chipped in 10 points. Marist’s Kiara Fisher led all scorers in the game with 23 points. Zaria Shazer added in 16 points and five rebounds for Marist in the loss.

Fairfield remains undefeated in conference play after defeating Iona 49-43 on Monday. Callie Cavanaugh and Janelle Brown paced the Stags with 12 points apiece on the day. Andrea Henangomez added in eight assists, six points, six rebounds and five steals in the game for Fairfield. Iona’s Juana Camilion recorded 12 points, six rebounds and three assists in the defeat.

Mount St. Mary’s earned its first MAAC conference win on Monday against Siena at home in a 65-59 contest. Michaela Harrison led The Mount in scoring recording 19 points in the game. Jessica Tomaseti pulled in a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds and Natalie Villaflor chipped in 10 points and five rebounds in the win. Siena’s Elisa Mevius led the Saints with 14 points, seven rebounds and five assists and Ahniysha Jackson added in 13 points. Anajah Brown recorded 12 points and 13 rebounds for a double-double in the game.

Niagara defeated Rider 74-67 at home to earn its first conference win of the season on Monday. Aaliyah Parker poured in 27 points and added five rebounds and five assists to lead Niagara. Angel Parker totaled 17 points, eight assists and four rebounds in the game, and Nickelle O’Neil had 12 points and six rebounds for the Purple Eagles. Maddy Yelle chipped in 10 points for Niagara in the win as well. Jessika Schiffer was the top scorer for Rider with 14 points and Makayla Firebaugh added in 12 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Quinnipiac picked up its first conference win at home on Monday over Manhattan 69-55. Mary Baskerville led Quinnipiac with 17 points, five rebounds and five steals. Cur’Tiera Haywood added in 10 points and two assists for Quinnipiac in the win. Manhattan’s Dee Dee Davis was the top scorer in the game recording 24 points and 11 rebounds.
