Iona men's basketball earned an impressive 84-62 win over Saint Louis in non-conference play at the Hynes Center on Tuesday. The win was the team’s 19th straight at home, which is the eighth longest current home streak in the nation, and the Gaels have won three straight games by 20+ points. Iona’s backcourt duo of Daniss Jenkins (21) and Walter Clayton Jr. (20) each reached 20 points and Nelly Junior Joseph added 16 points in the victory. Iona improved to 5-2 overall on the season and hold a league-best three-game winning streak.

Mount St. Mary's fell at home to American, 69-61 at Knott Arena on Tuesday night. The Mount rallied from a 12-point second half deficit to even the score, but American was able to make the plays down the stretch to secure the win. Deandre Thomas scored a season-high 18 points to pace the Mountaineers while Malik Jefferson added 16 points and seven rebounds in the game.
