Canisius’ McArthur and Maroney, Siena’s Decker Earn TicketSmarter Women’s Lacrosse Weekly Awards

Women’s Offensive Player of the Week:
Skylar McArthur, Canisius
Sr., Peterborough, Ontario, Adam Scott CVI
 
Skylar McArthur paced Canisius offensively Saturday with five goals and one assist, along with three integral draw controls. McArthur scored two goals in a little over a minute in the final quarter to help lift the Golden Griffins over Bucknell, 14-12.
 
Women’s Defensive Player of the Week:
Shannon Maroney, Canisius
Sr., Rocky Point, NY, Rocky Point
 
Shannon Maroney made seven saves in goal and added two ground balls to give Canisius its first win of the season Saturday over Bucknell.
 
Women’s Rookie of the Week:
Meghan Decker, Siena
Fr., Mullica Hill, NJ, Clearview Regional
 
Decker scored a hat trick and dished an assist for a four-point day in her collegiate debut at New Hampshire in Siena's 18-6 victory.
