Iona snapped its two-game skid with a 70-62 win over Monmouth at the Hynes Center on Sunday. The Gaels improved to 10-0 at home this season while also notching their 20th overall win. Elijah Joiner led four Iona double-digit scorers with 15 points, followed by Tyson Jolly’13 points, Quinn Slazinski 12 and Ryan Myers 11. Joiner also scored his 1,000th career point in the game. Jarvis Vaughan led Monmouth with 11 points.

Manhattan picked up an 83-66 road win on Sunday afternoon over Quinnipiac in Hamden, CT. The Jaspers used an efficient offense, shooting 67-percent from the field and 42-percent from deep. Four Jaspers scored in double figures in the victory, with Jose Perez scoring a game-high 21 points, Josh Roberts recording 20 points, Ant Nelson adding 15, and Elijah Buchanan contributing 10. Kevin Marfo led the Bobcats with a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds.

Siena secured a 76-75 overtime win over Rider at Alumni Gymnasium on Sunday. Siena erased a four-point deficit with 40 seconds left to force overtime before clinching its third straight win and six out of last seven. The duo of Anthony Gaines and Jared Billips each recorded a double-double, with Gaines logging a game-high 17 points and 11 rebounds and Billups scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Colby Rogers also scored 13 points while Jackson Stormo chipped in 10 points. Rider had five in double-figures with Mervin James scoring 15, Allen Powell posting 14 points, 12 by Jeremiah Pope, and 10 points each by Dwight Murray and Ajiri Ogemuno-Johnson.
