Abbott recorded six points in QU's comeback win during Saturday's season opener at UMass Lowell. He scored four goals to go along with two assists, recording a point on six of the Bobcats' 15 total points.
Men’s Defensive Player of the Week:
Brett Dobson, St. Bonaventure
Sr., Oshawa, Ontario, The Hill Academy
Dobson made 22 saves in the season-opener at Saint Joseph's Saturday. He had three groundballs and caused one turnover.
Men’s Rookie of the Week:
Colin Kelly, Canisius
R-Fr., Syracuse, NY, Christian Brother Academy
Tallied four points on three goals and one assist in the Griffs' season-opening contest at Hobart on February 12
th. Scored twice in the first half and added a goal and an assist in the second half, picking up a ground ball as well.
