Monmouth’s Brennan and Fairfield’s Proctor Earn TicketSmarter Women’s Lacrosse Weekly Awards
Women’s Offensive and Rookie Player of the Week:
Caroline Brennan, Monmouth

Brennan paced the Monmouth offensive in a 21-2 home win over Central Connecticut State on Sunday. She compiled a game-high nine points on six goals and three assists to go along with two ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers in her collegiate debut. Brennan needed just nine shots to log the six scores. The six goals she had are tied for the 10th-most scored by a Hawk in single game program history. Her nine points are tied for the fifth-most recorded by a Hawk in a single game in program history. Brennan’s offensive output helped Monmouth record the most goals scored in a season opener in program history.
Women’s Defensive Player of the Week:
Phoebe Proctor, Fairfield
So., Radnor, PA, Radnor
Proctor played all 120 minutes in the cage as the Stags went 1-1 with a loss to nationally-ranked UConn followed by a road win at perennial NEC contender Wagner. Proctor made 23 saves for a .511 save percentage. She also nabbed six ground balls.
