EDISON, NJ (February 23, 2022) – Fairfield’s Alexis Gaulin and Marist’s Hunter Embury have been named the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Student-Athletes of the Week.

Women’s Swimmimg & Diving
Alexis Gaulin was Fairfield Women’s Swimming & Diving’s top performing diver off both the 1M and 3M boards at the 2022 MAAC Championship. She placed second in the 1M Dive to nab 17 points for the Stags and added a fifth-place showing for 14 points in the 3M Dive. Her 31 total points helped lead the Stags to third-place on the team leaderboard. Academically, Gaulin is a Nursing major and a member of the MAAC All-Academic Team.
Hunter Embury

Men's Lacrosse
Senior Hunter Embury of the Marist men's lacrosse program has made positive impacts in the classroom, the campus community, and on the field. A Business Administration major, Embury is a multiple-time Dean's List honoree, MAAC All-Academic Team selection, and MAAC Academic Honor roll honoree. He is the Vice President of the MAAC's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), and part of Marist's SAAC Executive Board. This season, Embury scored a goal in Marist's victory at Binghamton on Feb. 12, and was a key part of Marist's 2019 MAAC championship team.
