MAAC Announces Mainline as Official Broadcast Partner of 2022 Esports Championship

EDISON, NJ (February 9, 2022) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and Mainline have agreed upon terms that will make Mainline its official event production service for the 2022 Esports Championships between March 10-12 at the Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ.
 
Mainline will provide simultaneous broadcasts of two streams across two stages in the Bourbon Room and the Harlem Ballroom at the Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ throughout the Championships in Super Smash Bros., Rocket League, Overwatch, and League of Legends.
 
“We truly believe that bringing in a team like Mainline can take MAAC Esports to new heights,” MAAC Director of Championships Kelsey Nugent said, “Mainline’s work in Esports is unmatched and will be a perfect fit for us in Atlantic City.”
 
“Mainline is excited to partner with the MAAC to produce and broadcast the MAAC Esports Championships,” Mainline Chief Growth Officer Toby Wyman said, “We look forward to showcasing all the MAAC student-athletes competing for the MAAC championship in each of their game titles.”
 
In June of 2020, the MAAC and Mainline previously struck a deal to provide the conference with a web application customized to MAAC brand standards and guidelines, provide back-end support to league administrators for the administration and execution of MAAC online leagues and tournaments, and provide support to league administrators for set up, operation, and administration of each league or tournament, inclusive of rules, guidelines, and dispute resolution.
