The Iona College women's basketball team defeated Canisius, 66-55, on Thursday night at the Hynes Center. Career-high efforts by Ketsia Athias (24 points and 15 rebounds) and Thoranna Hodge-Carr (15 points) lifted the Gaels to their second straight victory. Shyan Mwai scored 10 points as well. Athina Lexa scored 14 points and Dani Haskell added 11 for the Griffs in the loss.

Behind 15 points and 15 rebounds from
Mikala Morris, the Quinnipiac women's basketball team defeated MAAC rival Marist, 61-50, Thursday evening inside of the People's United Center to extend the Bobcats' win streak to five games, its longest of the season.
Amani Free added 12 points and two blocks, while
Rose Caverly contributed eight points, eight rebounds and five assists in the victory. Trinasia Kennedy was the lone Red Fox to record double-figures with a game-high 17 points.

On a night where they raised more than $4,300 in support of breast cancer awareness in the Capital Region, the Siena Women's Basketball team also raised a win in the UHY Center. The Green and Gold defeated the Monmouth Hawks by a final score of 61-54 in the 21
st annual Pink Zone game. Reigning MAAC Co-Player of the Week
Rayshel Brown led the Saints with an 18-point, 10 rebound performance for her first career double-double. Brown stuffed the stat sheet, also adding two assists, two blocks, and two steals.
Margo Peterson scored 16 points and Selena Philoxy scored 12 points and added eight rebounds. Stella Clark scored a game-high 21 points for the Hawks while Ariana Vanderhoop added 10 points. Belle Kranbuhl grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds.

Five Stags scored in double figures and the Fairfield University Women's Basketball team held on for a nail-biting 75-72 victory against Niagara. The win was their fourth-straight and boosted their conference record to 11-1, matching their best conference start in a decade. The MAAC's leading scorer Lopez-Senechal left the game in the final minute of the third quarter after sustaining an injury. Lopez-Senechal tied a team-high 15 points to go along with Sydney Lowery’s 15 points. Sam Lewis recorded 11 points, Callie Cavanaugh and Rachel Hakes added 10 points apiece. Ally Haar scored a game-high 19 points while Lore Porter added 11 points and Angel Parker added 10 points for the Purple Eagles.

The Manhattan women’s basketball team stayed perfect at home with a 65-45 win over Saint Peter’s on Thursday night. Dee Dee Davis scored a game-high 21 points, while Courtney Warley put up another double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, Bella Nascimento scored 10 points and Jenna Jordan grabbed 12 boards in the win. For the Peacocks, Kourtney Crane scored 12 points and Kaila Dawkins added 10 points in the loss.
