Iona remained unbeaten in MAAC play, holding off a second half surge by Canisius in a 70-62 win at the Koessler Center in Buffalo. Canisius erased a 19-point halftime deficit to bring the game within seven points on multiple occasions in the second half. The Gaels improved to 19-3 on the season and 11-0 in the MAAC. Nelly Junior Joseph led all scorers with 17 points, Tyson Jolly added 16 points and Walter Clayton Jr. scored 14 to lead Iona. Canisius was led by Armon Harried, who scored a team-high 14 points.

th all-time in MAAC league games. The trio of George Papas (18), Walker Miller (15), and Shavar Reynolds (13) led the Hawks in scoring. TJ Long (18), Jesus Cruz (12), and Supreme Cook (11) led the Stags in scoring on the night.

Niagara won an exciting overtime game over Manhattan, 80-74, on Friday night in the Gallagher Center. The Purple Eagles swept their season series with the Jaspers for the first time since 2012-13 following the victory. Marcus Hammond and Noah Thomasson led the Purple Eagles in scoring with 20 points each, Sam Iorio added 17 points and Jordan Cintron scored 13 points. Jose Perez had a career and game-high 38 points for the Jaspers.

Rider snapped Siena’s three-game winning streak, claiming a 74-60 road win on Friday night at MVP Arena. The win in Albany over the Saints for the Broncs was the first in almost a decade, having last won at Siena in December of 2012. Dimencio Vaughn scored a game-high 24 points and added eight rebounds and Allen Powell 18 points to lead Rider. Colby Rogers tallied 20 points, Javian McCollum scored a season-high 12 points and Aidan Carpenter contributed 10 points to lead the Siena.

Saint Peter's used a dominate second half, leading to an 83-74 victory over Quinnipiac on Friday night inside of Run Baby Run Arena on ESPNU. The Peacocks have won seven of their last nine games, remaining in second place on the MAAC standings. Daryl Banks III led Saint Peter’s with 16 points, followed by a double-double from KC Ndefo scoring 14 points and blocking 11 shots, while Fousseyni Drame (12) and Matthew Lee (11) also scored in double figures for the Peacocks. Quinnipiac had five players hit double digits scoring. Matt Balanc led the Bobcats with 17 points, Tyrese Williams added 15 points, Kevin Marfo turned in double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Tymu Chenery added 11 points, and Dezi Jones recorded 10 points.
