EDISON, NJ (Feb. 11, 2022) – The 2022 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) women’s lacrosse campaign opens up this weekend, with four of the conference’s squads taking the field on Saturday, Feb. 12 to officially start the season.
With a noon start, Canisius will be the first team in action on Saturday, visiting Lewisburg, Pennsylvania and Bucknell.
Fairfield, Iona, and Siena follow with 1pm games. The three-time defending champion Stags, travel north to Worcester, Massachusetts for a meeting with Holy Cross. The Gaels will take on La Salle in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Saints will venture to Durham, New Hampshire to face New Hampshire.

The 2022 MAAC Women's Lacrosse Championship will take place from April 30 through May 8. The six-team, single-elimination championship will be hosted by the higher seed of each match. The opening round will take place on Saturday, April 30, followed by the semifinals on Friday, May 6, and concluding with the championship match on Sunday, May 8.
