Val Augustin's first meet as a Peacock proved successful, as he captured first place in the 60 Meter Hurdles at the Metropolitan Indoor Championships with a time of 8.44. He shaved .52 off of his preliminary time in the event to help the first-place finish.
 
Men’s Field Performer of the Week:
RJ Decker, Manhattan
So., Otisville, NY, Minisink Valley
 
The sophomore recorded an 18.52m - new best in the MAAC - effort to win by exactly one meter. This season, it was the fifth win for Decker, who is unbeaten when he records a mark.
