Monmouth’s Macrae, St. Bonaventure’s Dobson and Grainger, Canisius’ Kelly Named TicketSmarter Men’s Lacrosse Weekly Award Winners

Men’s Offensive Player of the Week:
Connor Macrae, Monmouth
Jr., Middletown, NJ, Christian Brothers Academy
 
Connor Macrae scored five goals and handed out three assists to set the Monmouth single-game program record with eight total points in the Hawks' win over NJIT. Macrae added a career-high five ground balls, scored his fifth career hat trick and his 13th goal in his last three games. He leads the team with 14 goals this season and has 28 for his career.
 
Men’s Defensive Player of the Week:
Brett Dobson, St Bonaventure
Sr., Oshawa, Ontario, The Hill Academy
 
Dobson won two games, making 33 saves and a .688 save percentage this week (7.50 GAA). He made 19 saves & allowed only 5 goals in a 12-5 win over Cleveland State Friday. Dobson ended the week with 14 saves in an 11-10 win at Cleveland State Sunday.
 
Men’s Face-Off Player of the Week:
Trent Grainger, St. Bonaventure
Fr., San Diego, CA, Lo Jolla Country Day School/ Cheshire Academy
 
Grainger won 17 faceoffs and picked up nine groundballs in two wins this week. He compiled 11 faceoff wins in a victory over Cleveland State Friday, with six ground balls. On Sunday in a win at Cleveland State, he secured six faceoff wins with three ground balls.
 
Men’s Rookie of the Week:
Colin Kelly, Canisius
Fr., Syracuse, NY, Christian Brothers Academy
 
Kelly posted season highs in both goals (5) and points (6) in Canisius' matchup with Robert Morris. He also scooped up three ground balls in the contest.
