Monmouth’s Steuerwald and Feeley, Quinnipiac’s Ellagrace Win TicketSmarter Women’s Lacrosse Weekly Award

Women’s Offensive Player of the Week:
Hope Steuerwald, Monmouth
Sr., Manorville, NY, Eastport South Manor

Steuerwald posted a pair of seven-point outings in a 2-0 week for the Hawks. She scored a career-high seven goals in an 18-12 road win at Columbia on Tuesday, scoring five of her seven in the second half. The seven goals were the second-most scored by a Hawk in a single game in program history. Steuerwald then scored another seven points in a 13-10 road victory at Sacred Heart on Saturday. She became the first player in program history to post back-to-back games with seven or more goals scored.

Women’s Defensive Player of the Week:
Shannon Feeley, Monmouth
Jr., Parkton, MD, Hereford

Feeley led a Monmouth defense that went 2-0 this past week. In an 18-12 road victory at Columbia, she recorded a career-high seven ground balls. She also tied her career-best mark for caused turnovers with four.

Women’s Rookie of the Week:
Ellagrace Delmond, Quinnipiac
1^st Yr., Rockville Centre, NY, South Side

First year Ellagrace Delmond scored seven goals in two games as Quinnipiac split the week with a loss to Bryant and win over UMass-Lowell. The rookie scored on all seven shots that she put on target in the two games and also added four draw controls, two ground balls, and a caused turnover on the week. Delmond has now scored 13 goals in her last four games.
