MAAC Announces 2021-22 Men’s Basketball All-Academic Team

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (Mar. 9, 2022) – A total of 42 student-athletes were named to the 2021-22 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men’s Basketball All-Academic Team.
 
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
 
Leading the way with six academic honorees were Fairfield University, Iona College, and Quinnipiac University. Just behind the three were the trio of Canisius College, Monmouth University, and Saint Peter’s University, each placing four student-athletes on the team. Niagara University and Siena College followed with three selections, while Manhattan College and Marist College placed two on the team, and Rider University had one All-Academic member.
