Pitcher of the Week
Anna-Marie Groskritz, Rider
So., Granby, CT, Granby Memorial

Groskritz posted a 0.95 ERA over 14.2 innings pitched this weekend, including 13.2 innings pitched over two starts against Penn State. She began the week with complete-game effort against the Nittany Lions, allowing two runs, one earned, on three hits and three walks over 6.0 innings pitched, but couldn't get any run support in a 2-0 loss. She then came on in relief to earn the win against Cornell, allowing just one hit in a clean inning, striking out two, before the Broncs walked off in the bottom of the frame. Groskritz then allowed just a solo shot in the first against Penn State Sunday, before settling down and holding the Nittany Lions scoreless for the next six innings. Only an unearned run with the international tiebreaker in place in the eighth blemished the rest of her line, as she limited Penn State to four hits and a walk on the day.
