EDISON, NJ (March 30, 2022) – Marist’s Caroline Baratta and Monmouth’s Connor Macrae have been named the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Student-Athletes of the Week.

Graduate student Caroline Baratta has been an exemplary student-athlete for the last five years. Baratta was a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection in 2021 and has made the MAAC All-Academic Team and MAAC Academic Honor Roll every year she has been eligible. She majored in Business Administration as an undergraduate and made the Dean's List in all eight of her semesters.

Connor Macrae registered his seventh career hat trick and his 19th goal in his last five games in Monmouth’s 9-8 victory over Quinnipiac this past Saturday. His 19 goals over a five-game span ties the program record set by Bryce Wasserman in 2018 and Monmouth is 4-1 over that stretch, including a three-game winning streak. Macrae leads Monmouth with 20 goals this season and has 34 for his career and he became the fifth different Hawk to score 20 goals in a season and his 20 goals rank seventh on the single-season list.
