Graduate student, Kalista, Hyham put up 20 goals including a season-high six in a single game during a 5-0 weekend for the Explorers.
Defensive Player of the Week:
Emma Gurasich, La Salle
Jr., Long Beach, CA, Ernest McBride
Emma Gurasich made 45 saves on a 5-0 weekend for the Explorers. She recorded at least a .400 save percentage in each game. Additionally, she totaled 13 steals in five games, including a season-high four in a single contest.
Rookie of the Week:
Madeline Schultz, Marist
Fr., Tinley Park, IL, Tinley Schultz High School
In her first game against Cal State East Bay, Schultz led the scoring for the Red Foxes, scoring 4 goals as the team won 12-10. In her second game, against Cal Lutheran, she led the scoring for the Red Foxes again, scoring 4 out of her 6 attempted shots, helping Marist secure a 15-13 win, which continued Marist’s win streak. She led the Red Foxes in scoring this weekend, with her 8 goals now bringing her total to 56 goals in 18 games this season.
