MAAC Announces 2021-22 Women’s Golf All-Academic Team

LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL (April 21, 2022) – A total of 42 student-athletes were named to the 2021-22 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women’s Golf All-Academic Team. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
 
Quinnipiac University led the way and placed a league-best eight student-athletes on the All-Academic Team. Monmouth University followed and earned six honors.
 
The University at Albany, Fairfield University, La Salle University, and Niagara University each earned five spots on the All-Academic Team. The University of Dayton and Siena College each placed three student-athletes and the University of Hartford rounded out the team with two student-athletes.

The 2022 MAAC Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships tee off tomorrow morning at 7:30 am on ESPN+. The MAAC Golf Championships will take place on Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, FL and have been held there since 2015.
