Varsity 8 Boat of the Week:
Fairfield University
In a tri-meet with Sacred Heart and Trinity, the Stags' varsity 8 outlasted Sacred Heart (8:19.0) and Trinity (8:28.54) by finishing its run in 8:03.3 behind the efforts of Arianna Welton, Florencia Caces, Christina Caruso, Chloe Lennon, Isabella King, Ana McDonough, Emma Szachta, Arden Costello, and coxswain Erin Dobbs.
2nd Varsity 8 Boat of the Week:
Fairfield University
The second varsity 8 was successful in its tri-meet last Saturday, winning its race by registering a time of 8:30.8. Sacred Heart (9:03.2) and Trinity (9:26.93) rounded out the three-team event. The Stags entry consisted of Catie Lapolla, Olivia Heilbronn, Audrey Sedensky, Carolina McAndrew, Meghan Megill, Megan Blair, Kathryn Bergstrom, Ana Szymanski, and coxswain Hannah Cross.
Varsity 4 Boat of the Week:
Fairfield University
The varsity 4 A boat started off the tri-meet with Sacred Heart and Trinity by running the course in 9:34.3, which was nearly a minute better than the Pioneers entry (10:20.43). Fairfield was represented by Kierstan Murray, Sarah Wendling, Rebecca Patti, Adailia Flores, and coxswain Brenna McDonnell.
