Siena’s Kiernan, Jeffrey, Miller, Reynolds, Monmouth’s Lode earn TicketSmarter Men’s Lacrosse Weekly Awards

Men’s Offensive Player of the Week:
Jake Kiernan, Siena
Gr., Ridgewood, NJ, Ridgewood
 
Kiernan collected seven points on four goals and three assists in Siena's epic eight-goal comeback over previously undefeated MAAC front runner St. Bonaventure on Saturday afternoon. The grad student aided the Saints largest comeback in this millennium, all while keeping Siena's playoff hopes alive. Kiernan also had three ground ball and a caused turnover in the win, leading Siena's 13-2 run to end the game with four of his seven points coming in the fourth quarter alone.
 
Co-Men’s Defensive Player of the Week:
Sean Jeffrey, Siena

Jeffrey, a long stick defender, scored his first collegiate goals on Saturday afternoon. He scored a hat trick, netting all three goals on only three shots in aiding the Siena Saints eight-goal, come-from-behind win against St. Bonaventure. Jeffrey scored his first goal with just seconds left in the first half, sparking Siena's 13-2 second half run to take the 14-11 win. He also grabbed three ground balls, and caused a turnover as well on the defensive end.
 
Co-Men’s Defensive Player of the Week:
Noah Lode, Monmouth
5Y, Centreville, MD, Queen Anne’s County
 
Noah Lode limited Canisius to four goals and he made 12 saves in the Hawks' 6-4 victory on Saturday afternoon. Lode also picked off two passes to secure a pair of caused turnovers and ground balls as Monmouth forced 14 caused turnovers as a team.
 
 
Men’s Face-Off Player of the Week:
Sean Miller, Siena
Fr., Wading River, NY, Shoreham-Wading River
 
Miller was huge for the Saints on Saturday, winning 10-of-17 faceoff's - including six in the fourth quarter - to help the Saints to their eight-goal, come-from-behind 14-11 win over MAAC frontrunner St. Bonaventure. Miller was inserted on the faceoff X in the second half, appearing only in his sixth game all season. The freshman also snagged six ground balls, all coming off of his faceoff wins.
 
Men’s Rookie of the Week:
Pratt Reynolds, Siena
Fr., Manlius, NY, Fayetteville-Manlius
 
Reynolds came through big for the Siena Saints on Saturday afternoon, scoring all three of his goals in the final nine minutes of the fourth quarter as he helped the Saints to their 14-11 come-from-behind win against St. Bonaventure. The freshman had the equalizer, and go-ahead goals in Siena's epic eight-goal comeback, coming back from a 9-1 deficit in the first half.
