Stuba scored seven goals in two wins this week, two on penalty attempts and one on a powerplay, adding on three assists for a 10-point week. She drew three exclusions and had two steals and a field block. Stuba accounted for five goals in the regular-season finale win over VMI, moving her season-total to 100, still keeping her at the top of the program's single-season list in goals and points (151).
Defensive Player of the Week:
Kristina Bell, Wagner
Sr., Atascadero, CA, Atascadero
In three starts this weekend, Kristina stopped 27 out of 46 shots for a save percentage of .587, she held #25 Marist to one goal in the second half in the regular season finale.
Rookie of the Week:
Francesca Co’ La Salle
Fr., Rapallo, Italy, Liceo Scientifico Nicoloso de Recco
Freshman, Francesca Co’ totaled 11 points, four goals and seven assists in a 1-1 weekend for La Salle, including a season-high seven assists in the 24-7 victory over VMI.
