Canisius’ McArthur, Fairfield’s Horning, and Siena’s Bentley Win Final TicketSmarter Women’s Lacrosse Weekly Award of 2022

Women’s Offensive Player of the Week:
Skylar McArthur, Canisius
Sr., Peterborough, Ontario, Adam Scott CVI
 
McArthur tallied 10 goals in a 1-1 week for the Golden Griffins, while also registering nine draw controls and a ground ball. With five goals in each game, the senior finished the regular season with five or more goals in six contests in 2022.
 
Women’s Defensive Player of the Week:
Kelly Horning, Fairfield
Gr., Laytonsville, MD, Academy of Holy Cross
 
Kelly Horning racked up five ground balls, seven caused turnovers and six draw controls as the Stags' posted a 2-0 week to cap the regular season. She also contributed on the offensive end with three goals and an assist.
 
Women’s Rookie of the Week:
Jordan Bentley, Siena
R-Fr., Queensbury, NY, Queensbury/Richmond
 
Bentley helped pace the offense with a new career-high four goals in the Saints 14-9 victory over the Niagara Purple Eagles. Bentley now ranks fourth on the Saints in total points, as she helped the Green and Gold to the second seed in the upcoming MAAC Tournament.
