Sean MacKinney tallied five goals in the Jaspers' 11-4 win at Monmouth on Friday. MacKinney scored in all four quarters against the Hawks. The five goals bring his goal total to 24 on the season.
Men’s Defensive Player of the Week:
Brett Dobson, St Bonaventure
Sr., Oshawa, Ontario, The Hill Academy
Dobson made 21 saves in a 10-8 win at Quinnipiac. He recorded a .724 save percentage and forced a pair of caused turnovers. Dobson currently leads the nation in season save percentage.
Men’s Face-Off Player of the Week:
Matt Soutar, Monmouth
Jr., Mount Laurel, NJ, Lenape
Matt Soutar won 13-of-19 faceoffs in Monmouth's loss to Manhattan. Soutar also tied his own program record with 11 ground balls in the game.
Men’s Rookie of the Week:
Anthony Cimino, St. Bonaventure
Fr., Charlotte, NC, Charlotte Christian School
Cimino totaled three points in a 10-8 win at Quinnipiac. He scored one goal and added two assists.
