Hedlund hit .412/.444/1.059 last week for the Jaspers. She homered in both games at Stony Brook on April 21 and had two games with three RBI.  The sophomore capped the week with a 3-for-3 game two vs. Rider with another HR and three RBI.
 
Pitcher of the Week:
Jessie Rising, Manhattan
Sr., Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Pinelands
 
Senior, Jessie Rising went 3-0 with a 0.33 ERA with 3 complete games last week for the Jaspers. She struck out five Seawolves on April 21 to collect a win in game one of the DH. Rising fanned six Hawks in a one-hitter in game one on Saturday. She surrendered only earned run of the week vs Rider on Sunday. She finished the week with 12 strikeouts.
 
Rookie of the Week:
Maddie Pleasants, Marist
Fr., Rhodesdale, MD, Cambridge-South Dorchester
 
Pleasants hit .500 with a 1.745 OPS (1.200 slugging, .545 on-base) this week. She went 5-for-10 with eight RBIs, two runs scored, two home runs, a double, and a walk. Pleasants closed the week by reaching safely in seven consecutive plate appearances. She hit her first collegiate home run against Fairfield on April 20. She then had a walk, RBI, and single in Marist's 9-1 win over Siena in the first game of a doubleheader on April 23. In the second game, she drove in six runs in the Red Foxes' 7-2 triumph over Siena. She went 3-for-3 with a home run and a double.
