HAMDEN, Conn. - Quinnipiac women's golf is headed to Tallahassee, Florida for the 2022 NCAA Championship as announced by the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Committee on Wednesday afternoon. The Bobcats will compete in the Tallahassee Regional, hosted by Florida State at the Don Veller Seminole Golf Course and Club.
After repeating at the MAAC Championships this past weekend, head coach John O'Connor's squad will travel to Florida as the 12 seed in the region. Quinnipiac, one of seven automatic qualifiers in the region, will be joined by Florida State, South Carolina, UCLA, Ole Miss, Illinois, Mississippi State, Miami (Florida), Denver, North Florida, College of Charleston and Georgia Southern.
Competition at the NCAA Regional will take place from May 9-11 with the top six teams advancing to the NCAA Championships at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
