Men’s Golfer of the Week

Burkhamer won the Columbia Spring Invitational on Monday by two strokes. In the 36-hole one day event, the graduate student shot even par in round one and then shot -1 in round two.
Women’s Golfer of the Week
Kaylee Sakoda, Quinnipiac
Jr., Cypress, CA, Troy
Sakoda tied for first place among a stacked field of 83 competitors at the Prospect Bay Intercollegiate, hosted by Jel Golf on Sunday afternoon at the Prospect Bay Country Club. The win marked the second of the season for the junior.
Sakoda tied for first place after shooting 75-76-78–229 (+13). Sakoda was ruled the outright winner of the tournament despite being tied with two other golfers after 54 holes played. To determine the winner, the course judges went over each golfer's scorecard backwards and Sakoda had the best score over the final three holes to be declared the victor.
