Varsity 8 Boat of the Week:
Fairfield University
The Stags competed in two events over the weekend, including first place in a tri-meet with Manhattan and Sacred Heart (7:06.21). On Saturday, the crew competed at the Murphy Cup and took third place in its heat (6:41.14) and second in the petite final (6:38.21). The crew consisted of Arianna Welton, Flo Caces, Isabella King, Chloe Lennon, Emma Szachta, Ana McDonough, Kathryn Bergstrom, Arden Costello, and coxswain Erica Dobbs.
2nd Varsity 8 Boat of the Week:
Fairfield University
The Fairfield Second Varsity 8 took first place in its tri-meet with Sacred Heart and Manhattan, finishing the race in 7:29.10. One day earlier, the crew competed at the Murphy Cup and took third place in its heat (6:41.94), but did not advance. The crew consisted of Audrey Sedensky, Olivia Heilbronn, Meghan Megill, Megan Blair, Christina Caruso, Ana Szymanski, Catie Lapolla, Catherine Morrissey, and coxswain Hannah Cross.
Varsity 4 Boat of the Week:
Fairfield University
The Varsity 4 competed in a tri-meet with Sacred Heart and Manhattan this weekend and won its race with a time of 8:53.35. Kiersten Murray, Sarah Wendling, Natalia Bertolotti, Adalia Flores, and coxswain Brenna McDonnell were in the Stags shell.
