EDISON, NJ (May 31, 2022) – Six Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) men’s and women’s track & field/cross country student-athletes were named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District. Five were chosen on the women’s team and one was selected to the men’s team.
The MAAC honorees include Michael Peppy from Canisius College, Nina Bjorkman and Alexandra Preckajio of Manhattan College, Haley Collins from Marist College, Sammi Ragenklint of Monmouth University, and Siena College’s Olivia Lomascolo.
The 2021-22 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in June.
