Monmouth secured the wire-to-wire victory over Manhattan after a dominant first half and never looked back. The Hawks closed the first half on a 5-0 run which included two goals from Mya Brock. Monmouth would go on to score four straight goals between the third and fourth quarters to add to their lead and had contributions from all over the field in their dominant win as seven different Hawks registered goals.

- Advance to their first MAAC Championship Final since 2016.
- Danielle McNeely led all players with eight points on two goals and six assists.
- Mary Kate George and Hope Steuerwald each had four goals.
- Madi Bednarek had six saves in goal.
- 24 of the 27 Hawks’ shots were on goal.
Manhattan Notes and Notables
- Julianna Iovine and Grace Lipponer each scored three goals apiece.
- Manhattan won the turnover battle, 14-10.

Monmouth and Fairfield will face off on Sunday, May 8 at 1 pm for the 2022 MAAC Women’s Lacrosse title. The championship match will be hosted by Siena College at Hickey Field in Loudonville, NY and will be streamed live on ESPN+.
During the regular season on April 13, Monmouth defeated Fairfield in a high-scoring affair, 21-16. Fairfield’s Kelly Horning scored a game-high seven points on five goals and two assists. For Monmouth, Mya Brock, and Caroline Brennan each had five points.
