EDISON, NJ (May 6, 2022) – The 2022 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men & Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships presented by VisitNJ will be held this upcoming weekend on Saturday and Sunday, May 7 and 8. The championships will be hosted by Rider University at Michael P. Brady Track & Field Complex in Lawrenceville, New Jersey for the 22^nd time, more than any other location.
 
Saturday begins at 12:00 p.m. with the women’s hammer throw event. Sunday’s events begin at 10 a.m. with the men’s triple jump. Sunday’s events of the championships will be broadcast on ESPN+ beginning at 12:00 p.m. with both live and prerecorded segments.
 
Monmouth University was selected as the preseason favorites on both the men’s and women’s sides at the beginning of the season. Both the Hawks men’s and women’s teams are looking to capture their eighth consecutive titles since joining the league in 2014.
