KANSAS CITY, MO (Aug. 5, 2022) – United Soccer Coaches announced the College Team Academic Award winners, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2021-22 academic year. The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) had five men’s teams and five women’s teams earn the academic honor.
 
MAAC men’s teams to earned the award were Iona University, Marist College, Monmouth University, Rider University, and Siena College. MAAC women’s teams to earn the award were Fairfield University, Marist College, Monmouth University, Quinnipiac University, and Siena College.
 
A total of 808 soccer teams (303 men, 505 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2021-22 academic year. Of that total, 154 schools had both their men’s and women’s programs recognized.
