Saint Peter's picked up their first win of the 2022 season by defeating Hampton, 1-0, on Wednesday afternoon. Forward Xochilt Turijan scored the winning goal for the Peacocks in the 77th minute. Turijan followed up on a rebound and slotted it into the open net for her first career goal. Goalkeeper Olivia Mackethan recorded the first clean sheet of her career.

Lindsey Maslow recorded the first goal of the game in the 24th minute and goalkeeper Ellie Sciancalepore made nine saves, allowing just three goals compared to 12 shots faced, but Albany’s Emily Jozak scored her first career hat trick (40’, 42’, 50’) as the Broncs fell to the Great Danes, 3-1, for their first loss of 2022 on Wednesday night at Bob Ford Field.

The 2022 MAAC Women's Soccer Championship will take place from October 30 through November 6. The six-team, single-elimination championship will be hosted by the higher seed of each match. The opening round will take place on Sunday, October 30, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, November 3, and concluding with the championship match on Sunday, November 6.
