Offensive Player of the Week

MAAC Preseason Player of the Year Rebecca Cooke registered three more goals over two QU games this past week, scoring twice against Fordham last Wednesday and again against Rhode Island on Sunday. Cooke has eight goals through six matches this year. 

Defensive Player of the Week
Natalie Kelchner, Marist

All-MAAC Preseason goalkeeper Natalie Kelchner recorded six saves in the Red Foxes' 1-0-1 outing this week. Kelchner recorded five saves during the game against UMBC on Thursday and held Delaware State scoreless in Marist's Sunday victory.

Rookie of the Week
Sam Kersey, Fairfield
Fr., Mashpee, MA, Mashpee High School
 
Now a two-time MAAC Rookie of the Week, Kersey headed in the match-winning goal in the 75th minute to defeat Northeastern on Thursday. She nearly added another goal to this week's resume as she fired off a shot at Dartmouth that hit the post in the second half on Sunday.

The 2022 MAAC Women's Soccer Championship will take place from October 30 through November 6. The six-team, single-elimination championship will be hosted by the higher seed of each match. The opening round will take place on Sunday, October 30, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, November 3, and concluding with the championship match on Sunday, November 6.
