Mount St. Mary's upended UMBC, 1-0, on Tuesday night at Waldron Family Stadium for their third straight win of the season. Goalkeeper Ethan Russell made 11 saves, including one on a second-half penalty kick, to lead the clean sheet. The Mount’s goal in the win came when Ruben Kiers passed the ball to Jesus Salazar to start the play. Salazar then sent a long cross into the box where Karamo Bah was able to head the ball past UMBC goalkeeper in the 51st minute.

Niagara played to a hard-fought 1-0 loss at No. 16 Syracuse Tuesday night in non-conference action from SU Soccer Stadium. In the 13th minute, Nathan Opoku would send a cross to Levonte Johnson for the first goal of the match, giving Syracuse a 1-0 lead over Niagara. Josh Savoni faced 19 shots, making a total of four saves.

The Saint Peter's University men's soccer team lost to Temple 3-1 on Tuesday night. Freshman forward Teodor Linn scored his first career goal for the Peacocks in the 58th minute after pouncing on a loose ball in the box.
The 2022 MAAC Men's Soccer Championship will take place from November 6 through 13. The six-team, single-elimination championship will be hosted by the higher seed of each match. The opening round will take place on Sunday, November 6, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, November 10, and concluding with the championship match on Sunday, November 13.
