Annie Bagnall scored twice to lead Siena to a 2-1 non-conference road win over Albany on Thursday evening. Bagnall scored on a cross from Cora Keohane in the 22nd minute before putting away her second goal, assisted by Micaiah Croce and Danielle Borrino, in the 30th minute. Albany got on the board in the 73rd minute on a penalty kick goal, but two last attempts from Casey Stowell in the final nine minutes would miss wide as the Saints held on for the road victory. Albany held a 28-17 edge in shots, including a blistering 16-3 second-half advantage, but Siena’s defense held the Great Danes to just six shots on goal for the match. Goalkeeper Angela Fini made three saves in the full 90:00.
 
The 2022 MAAC Women's Soccer Championship will take place from October 30 through November 6. The six-team, single-elimination championship will be hosted by the higher seed of each match. The opening round will take place on Sunday, October 30, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, November 3, and concluding with the championship match on Sunday, November 6.
