Offensive Player of the Week

McCann recorded a hat trick on Wednesday versus Stonehill, leading the Bobcats to a win in their non-conference finale in Hamden. His hat trick was the first by a Quinnipiac player since 2019. McCann has four goals on the season.

Defensive Player of the Week
Nassim Akki, Manhattan

Nassim played a fundamental role in Manhattan's 2-0 win over FDU. In addition to assisting on what would be the game-winning goal, Akki anchored the defensive line to its second shutout of the year.

Rookie of the Week
Alexander Stjernegaard, Quinnipiac

Stjernegaard recorded two goals and an assist on Wednesday in a win against Stonehill in the Bobcats non-conference finale in Hamden. The first-year midfielder has 11 points in his first year with the Bobcats.
 
The 2022 MAAC Men's Soccer Championship will take place from November 6 through 13. The six-team, single-elimination championship will be hosted by the higher seed of each match. The opening round will take place on Sunday, November 6, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, November 10, and concluding with the championship match on Sunday, November 13.
