Offensive Player of the Week
Faith Preziosi, Iona
Gr., Parsippany, NJ, Parsippany High School

Preziosi netted a goal in each of Iona's two wins this past week, helping the Gaels increase their win streak to four matches and remain undefeated (4-0-2). Her goal in the home-opening win over Lafayette tied the match at 1-1, and her goal at Wagner was the decisive one in a 1-0 road victory over the Seahawks.

Defensive Player of the Week
Emma Havrilla, Iona
Gr., Northport, NY, Northport High School
 
Havrilla started in net and played every minute of Iona's two wins this past week, allowing just one goal across her 180 combined minutes in net. She stopped five shots in a 2-1 victory over Lafayette and then made a season-best eight saves in a shutout at Wagner.

Rookie of the Week
Maddy Theriault, Fairfield
Fr., Palmer, MA, Palmer High School
 
Theriault scored a goal and tallied an assist in Fairfield's 2-0 week. Her goal in the 2-0 win over Bryant grabbed the number 10 spot on SportsCenter. She also assisted on the match-winning goal against Sacred Heart.
 
The 2022 MAAC Women's Soccer Championship will take place from October 30 through November 6. The six-team, single-elimination championship will be hosted by the higher seed of each match. The opening round will take place on Sunday, October 30, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, November 3, and concluding with the championship match on Sunday, November 6.
