Siena picked up the New Year’s Day win over Canisius in a 72-62 contest. Ahniysha Jackson led Siena with 17 points in the game. Anajah Brown recorded a double-double in the contest with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Emina Selimovic recorded 13 points, Valencia Fontenelle-Posson added in 12 points and seven rebounds, and Elisa Mevius recorded 10 points, seven assists and five rebounds for the Saints. Sisi Eleko recorded 17 points, five steals, and three rebounds to lead Canisius and Dani Haskell added in 13 points and five rebounds.
