Niagara picked up the 82-70 win over Canisius at home on Wednesday evening. Wednesday’s game marked the 101^st installment of the Battle of the Bridge series between Canisius and Niagara. Angel Parker led Niagara in the game with 21 points, five steals, four rebounds and three assists and Aaliyah Parker recorded 13 points, six rebounds and two blocks in the matchup. Maddy Yelle, Jade Rutledge and Sydney Faulcon added in nine points apiece for the Purple Eagles to round out a balanced offensive effort.
 
Dani Haskell was the top performer for Canisius with 21 points, four rebounds and three assists on the day. Cheyenne Stubbs added in 13 points and three assists for the Griff’s and Vannessa Garrelts recorded 10 points and five assists.
