Iona picked up the conference win at home over Niagara on Monday in a 63-53 outing. Iona’s Kate Mager led all scorers in the game with 24 points. Ketsia Athias stuffed the stat sheet with 10 points, 17 rebounds, eight assists, and four blocks in the winning effort for the Gaels’. Angel Parker was the top performer for Niagara with 19 points, six rebounds, and four steals.
 
The next time both teams will be in action will be on Thursday, January 5, when Iona travels to Rider and Niagara hosts Quinnipiac as MAAC conference play continues.
